I'm looking for a William Padbury, born 1799 in England. Would have married an Elizabeth Palmer, born 1803. Immigrated to America in the 1800's and started a family here. Would you have info?
I would appreciate very much any information you might have on him.

Hi. I am very new to all this but have had a very useful contact in Australia (Patrick) who has given me a huge amount of information.

The Padbury family (my male side) married an Emma F Smith back in the mid 1800's somewhere in Warks............something in 'Arden'.................

If this message gets to anyone who is really interested, but is not sure how to proceed, get in touch and let's see if we can find who we are.

I have to say that once a 'Smith' gets involved in your family history it gets very involved.

But, if any of this ties up with your PADBURY and SMITH family history please get in touch. Let's explore.

I am looking for Arthur Padbury(jr)1893 Warwichshire, son of Arthur Padbury (sr). Jr married my Mary Jackson White 1899 in 1933 Coventry. I cannot locate them after 1933? Possibly immigrated to Australia?

Sorry about the delay in replying - have been preoccupied with home renovations.
I don't have any information on my Edith Kate Padbury, only that she married into our Alexander family and her name just appears in the family tree handed down to me.
From the 1881 census I found a family in Lambeth I believe to be hers:

Harry Padbury, Tin Plate Worker age 30 b. Bishop Walton, Hampshire;
Sarah Emily age 32, b. Chichester, Sussex;
Frederick Wm. age 4yr b. Walworth, Surrey;
Lilly Elizth. age 2yr b. Kennington, Surrey;
Edith Kate age 1yr b. Camberwell, Surrey;
unnamed Baby age 1 mth, b. Camberwell

Sorry I can't help you, but perhaps there is a chance they might be cousins?

This is quite a coincidence I also have an Edith Kathleen Padbury on my family tree at about the same time line although she married Herbert Randall. I was wondering if we might have some related Padbury's - I also live in Canada (Oshawa, ON)
Do you have any Annison's, Hannaford's, or Kingsfords on your tree?

My mother is looking for her relatives. He father's name was Leslie or Earl Padbury and her mother's name was Annalee. My mother is Yvonne Padbury. Could this possibly be the same person you are looking for?

Like you, I have still not been able to connect William, born 1825 to William Padbury and Amelia Ridenton. I do believe that there is a connection though, there are too many coincidences.
I have come up with 2 marriages for William and Amelia at 2 different churches, but both in 1825.

William is my GGG Father, who died 23 Nov 1874. I'm having probs linking him to his son William born 1825/26 who in turn was the father of my G grandfather William (born 1850) who's photograph was the reason for me starting my family research in the first place. I have a photo of him in his London Metropolitan Fire Brigade uniform taken around1890. Would love to have more info on the box maker and any other info on these Williams.
I guess Dorothy McLelland and I have a link and I originally contacted her some years back but have been out of the genealogy loop for some time.

Since first posting this query I have discovered that William was born in Middlesex.(this from the 1851 census) I have not discovered which parish though. William died in 1874 in Surrey.

Grandfather: Bruce Padbury born late 1800s, married Bessie (dont know maiden name) both deceased
My father was Roy Wayne Padbury and his sister was Marg, both deceased
Roy married my mother Sandra Carol Rock, and I have one sister Andrea Jane Padbury (now Andrea Thomson)
Andrea has three daughters, Paige, Reece and Abby.
I would like to know a little more so if anybody knows where bruce came from please let me know.

I know of an Arthur Padbury born in London, served in the Boer War, came to Canada with wife and family settling in Toronto. He then served again in WW1 with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. If this is the one that you are looking for I have this family back to 1804. Please contact me off list.
