I am searching for reltives of Joseph Cooper Paden in the State of Penna.
He had 3 boys.Raymond Grant Paden,, Jacob Leland Paden,,and Joseph Arthur Paden.
They also had one daughter ,, Grace Shaffer Paden.
They were all born in and around the Franklin area and the pearl ,, Bullion and clintinville areas.
Most of them were in the oil business .
There mother was Grace Lake Paden and Im not sure where she was born.
This Family all lived in and around Venango Co. area most of their lives.
The family traveled out west to Salt Lake City Utah when Jacob Paden was a teenager.
His name is Jacob Leland Paden . He was born in 1/1900
He was married to Florence Madeline Clinefelter and they had 6 children.
4 boys and 2 girls.
Kenneth Eugene Paden,, Leland Lavern,, Buddy Leroy,, Paul Elton.
The girls are,, Barbara Jean Paden Wilson and Shirley Louise Paden Winkler

I have history on the Clinefelter family in Franklin. My great-grandmother and grandfather were Elizabeth Beatty Clinefelter d. 1919 and Edward Clinefelter (whereabouts unknown)

They had 4 children in which Marie is the mother of my mother.

I have a JC Paden, who married Cecelia Wilson of Venango Co, PA. They resided in Warren Co and she died in 1892. Her parents were born about 1810, so she was probably born around 1835 (her mother died in 1841).

There are Padens on my husband's side of the family also. His great-grandmother, Priscilla Anna Paden, daughter of William and Mary (Parkerson) Paden, was born Oct. 12, 1874. She was married on Jan. 28, 1892 in Franklin, Venango Co., PA to Lyman Tilford Rice. She died in 1953 and is buried in Peter's Cemetery, Canal Twp., Venango Co., PA. - Hoping someone will make a connection here also.

Information I have on Edward Clinefelter came from 3rd cousin - once removed (Shaun Doyle)... says Edward was son of John W. & Catherine Eleanora Seely Clinefelter.

Edward was married to Liz Beaty d.1919 and Cora was married George Beaty (brother and sister).

Also, George worked with John Hexamer married to Mattie Beaty. All Beaty's were children of Thompon Beaty. There were about 7 children in that family.

Edward disappeared after 1919 and left 4 children who my mother decended from.

Hi! My husbands name is Richard Paden (1956) he is the oldest of 5 brothers & his fathers name is Glennwood R Paden,aprox 75 yrs old. He is married to a Dorothy Finch. They live in CT now but have a son still in PA. I have yet to contact them for more information but will soon. Any relation?
