In response to seeing the surname Chidgey. My husbands grandfather was Cornelius Wescombe who married Annie Louisa Bellchambers hence the link with Mabel[Bellchambers]Chidgey. I have a photograph of Cornelius and Annie Louisa's wedding with the whole family gathered. Very oddly I am currently using a teacloth with the chidgey name inked on the hem - we remarked that it must be extremely old as Cornelius died in the 1950's
