I am looking for birth and death records of my grandfather Peter Paige. He was of African or West Indian heritage. About 1900 he lived in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. His wife's name was Pattie Palen also of Elizabeth City, NC. She died during the influenza epidemic of 1918. He moved the family (five children)to Norfolk, Virginia. Later in life he lived in Pennsylvania
