Rosa D. Painter, 84, of Ormond Beach, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009. She was born January 28, 1925 in Biddeford, Maine and has been a resident of this area since 1972. A loving wife and mother, she will be remembered for always being there to lend a hand when needed. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38 years, Wally; sons, James Nicholas and Keith Nicholas, both of Ormond Beach; brothers, Guy (Sophie) Lazzaro, Ormond Beach and Albert Lazzaro, Portsmouth, NH; sister, Julie (Ray) Painter, Ft. Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donations may be made in memory of Rosa to Florida Hospital Hospice Care, 875 Sterthaus Ave, Ormond Beach. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.MeM.-com. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home Ormond Beach.
