My name is Janet Palacios Knutson and I am a forth generation Palacios. Pryor to the forth generation my family name had the Palacio spelling and has it's roots in Mexico. My great grandfather was Eciquio(Eziquio)Palacio and was born on Sept. 20, 1890 in Brownsville, Tx. he married Julia Moya in Aransas Pass, Tx. Eciquio's father was Martin Palacio of Mexico and he married Martina Briones of Mexico. She is were the trail grows cold for me. I would greatly appreciate any info. from anyone recognizing these names.
