Hello:
I have just started a webpage here on Myfamily.com for my branch of the family. My grandfather Placido, and his wife Benedetta came to the US from Catania, in Sicily. They settled in Batavia, NY.
My dad brother went out there in the 80's and said that in thier area of Sicily the name was VERY common. It is hard to tell if all were related, though..but I am sure there were alot of cousins. My own cousin has done a complete family history, so I am trying to bring her in to contribute to the page I have started here.
