I have started a global PEARSALL Family DNA - Surname Project for PEARSALL, PARCELL, PARSHALL, PIERSALL, PARCELLS, PURCELL, and related surnames.

Through genetic genealogy (e.g. testing specific markers on the Y-chromosome), we can learn more about:

1. When two family members shared the same ancestor,
2. How different branches of the PEARSALL family are related (in the U.S. and worldwide), and
3. How different surnames are related - such as PEARSALL, PARCELL, PARSHALL, PIERSALL, PARCELLS, PURCELL, etc.
