Dear Friends,
Just this year we have completed and published a book "Pioneers of the South" which features 7 prominet families in North Carloina. Parker is one of them and is well researched. The book took 10 years to research and publish.
The oldest Parker is "William the Mariner". His second son was also William Parker. This second son came to Nansemond Co. NC on one of the family ships, the "Charles", in 1616 at the age of 20. He married Anne Powell and had at least four sons. "John of Lynhaven", "Thomas of Lynhaven", "William of Parker's Creek" and my ancestor (ggggggggrandfather (eight)). This book has alot of land records, wills and of course genealogy trees. If any of you are interested let me know. Send me your questions and I will try to answer them.
The other families are as follows: Riddick Stone, Runyan, Duke, Powell, Hunter.
Yours,
Edgar Kader Riddick III
