My Parkinson family came from Quorndon in Leicestershire - three brothers were known to have settled there in the middle of the 1700's. Their names were Robert, Thomas and William, and all left descendants in the area. My forebear was Robert and he was transported to Australia in 1822, and had a family in Tasmania, with wife Jane (nee Jones). I have some detail about the family on the homepage I have.
