Hi,

I'm trying to locate the family of Richard and Mary ( Dare ) PARRAN, living in Calvert Co., Christ Church Parish, on the 1800 census. Thier son Dr. Richard PARRAN, 1810-1851, married Martha Laura Elizabeth MORGAN, known as Laura, and settled in Shepardstown, Va. ( now W.Va. ) Richard the elder, is said to be the son of John PARRAN and Elizabeth BOURNE. John said to be the son of Young PARRAN and Elizabeth SMITH WILKINSON, dau. of Charles Somerset SMITH and Jane CRABB, widow of Francis WILKINSON. Young PARRAN was the son of Alexander PARRAN Sr., son of John/ Jean PARRAN of England, and 2nd. wife, Mary YOUNG, dau. of Arthur YOUNG, Calvert Co., Maryland.

I have been working on the connection with these families for many years and can't find the right information. A cousin in 1935 worked with Alice Norris PARRAN, on this family, and I'm trying to verify the information she gave us. Any information would be wonderful. I have some more information on others in this family tree and am happy to share. Also dates on the people above, but not in front of me at this time.
