I was just in Rhode Island today researching the Parent family, Francis is my gg grandfather. Do you have any
information on him from Trois Riviere Canada? I found today
Philomene's death information and when I put Francois Raboin
on Ancestry.com it showed the message from Patrica to you
and was I surprised to find it was the same family I'm researching. Francis & Philomene per 1900 census had six
children two living. George F. Parent 11/27/1880 - 10/18/1938
my great grandfather, Josephine 8/1882 per 1900 census.
Last summer I visited the American-French Genealogical Society, in Woonsocket RI and found a Guillaume Narcisse Parent son of Francis and Philomene born 5/20/1884.
They seem to have moved around alot. They were married in
Warwick, son George was born in North Kingstown, RI, I found
then in 1900 census in Coventry, RI and after that I could not
find them again.
By your last name you are related to Philomene? Do you have
any information on her family?
