Branch of Jewish Parris tree in southern U.S.

Brooklyn, NY-based Parris family, Jewish, had a male who left for Georgia in the early 20th century. Am interested to learn more about this branch of our family tree. The patriarch was a Max Parris. A brother of the male who went to GA was Ralph Parris, my grandfather.
