thanks for your information, I have since found out that RBN refers to the parish Ruabon which is where William & Elizabeth Parry lived, he was born in Broughton & Elizabeth in Scotland.
I am relatively new to researching the family tree & although extremely interesting it is also infuriating when you hit a brick wall.
