Alicia, I hope I have the right Echabarne

This is Mike Cleland. You and I were next door neighbors in Roswell NM. Your sister Judy and I stayed in touch for a number of years after your family moved to Atwater (Winton) and my folks moved to Fair Oaks near Sacramento. I recall the last time I would have seen you would have been about 1972 at your folks place in Winton.

I was wondering how you and your sisters were; how your folks were getting along, etc.

I live in Pleasanton, CA with 4 kids (2 daughters). I have oftern thought of your Dad being surrounded by all you girls, and wondered how he managed.

Mike

Isadore Pasqual

I am trying to trace a family line in Spain. The only name(s) I have are an Isadore Pasqual, I think the provence was Carillo or Cabrillo... He move to the USA and married "a commoner" Mary Urbain, and was denounced from his family in Spain. They had two Children - Paul and Gene (Eugene). I believe he changed his name to Sid Echabarne then... any information would be helpful, I'm at a block wall on this one.

tardys from bitche, lorraine, france.

my greatgrandfather, charles ernest tardy, 1835-1908, was born in bitche, together with four of his other seven siblings.ggfather went to china in 1860 as a missionary.
he lived in both china, hong kong and malaya (now called
malaysia) with his wife and family until 1898 when he returned to france without them.i am trying to trace the living relatives
of his siblings. i would like to know if anyone has heard of
tardys coming from this region in moselle departement. they
must have moved from bitche and gone to live in sarreguemines or else migrated to a neighbouring country or
possibly further to UK or US.

these would be my mum's cousins. jeffrey was born around
1925 and leslie around 1928. their mother, my grandaunt,
betty is believed to have been born around 1890. she was
married to an irishman called ? madden while the latter lived in malaya (now malaysia).betty's father, my greatgrandfather,
charles tardy, was a priest who left the church. when on the run he took a new surname karl and dropped the surname tardy until his return to france 25 yrs. later.
jeffrey and leslie madden attended light street convent school in penang, malaysia. when the 2nd world war broke out we
beleive that the family moved away. possibly to australia or
to UK. there were 8-10 children in the family. some of their names were allen, douglas, mickie, molly, sheila, peter, kevin.
my family would be very grateful if anyone knowing these two gentlemen could contact us.
