Thomas enlisted with the 1st Alabama Cav. (USA) Though he
is shown as being a deserter, the pension file says that
he was killed in battle near or in Tuscumbia, Alabama
Aug. 1863.

Daughter of Jackson & Mariah Pate
Booker Pate, believe to be her uncle, and her brother
James Marshall Pate were witness to her pension
declaration.
