It's very nice to hear from you again. Congratulations on the forthcoming birth of your son, you certainly will be very busy from now on.

The information you received from family in N.Z. is wonderful. I am sure they probably had a professional researcher looking into the family. Until we can prove otherwise, I think I will accept that your gggrandfather was brother to my Rachel.

I hope to find the grave of Charles Paterson sometime hopefully in St. Ninians. I will be going over again in 2010 for another family reunion. Since a lot of Rachel's children have the middle name of Paterson, I have been looking at all the Paterson's with those names trying to find a connection, but without census help, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I will keep digging and If I find any more info. I will pass it on to you.
