Paterson George b1790 m Janet Wishart in Cumbrae > Aus

Surnames: paterson wishart
I am researching my Scottish ancestors from Cumbrae.
I know that George Paterson married Janet Wishart in 1814 and they had children George b1818 Margaret b1819 Agnes b1823 Mary b1827 Janet b1829 and Susanna b1832.
Son George emigrated to Aus in abt 1850 and married Margaret Dooner in Sydney in 1856.
Any advice on gathering more info on birth places and siblings etc would be gratefully received as I have only just learnt of this connection.
