Surnames: Patient, Abell, Watson, Baird,
My great-grandfather was named John Patient. He was born in 1824 in England. According to his death certificate his father's name was George, also born in England. Aside from the info on the death cert. the only other thing I have is that he married his second wife in Illinois in 1877.
Does anyone know if Patient is an alternate spelling for Patience, or is it two different family names?
