MALONE — Theresa A. Patnode, 74, of Maple Ridge Apartments in Malone and formerly of Churubusco, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.

She was born in Montreal, Quebec, on Dec. 1, 1927, the daughter of Edouard and Diana (Trombly) Gervais.

She was married to Gerald Patnode on April 20, 1950, in Saint-Eusebe - de - Vercil Church in Montreal.

Mrs. Patnode is survived by her husband of 51 years; a sister Yvette Gervais of Montreal, Quebec; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Rita Gervais.

Mrs. Patnode was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Churubusco and later attended St. Joseph Church in Malone.

Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with Rev. Howard McCasland officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Immaculate Heart Cemetery in Churubusco .

Donations in her memory may be made to Churubusco Fire Dept.
