Contact Norman G. Patterson, 7526 Wentworth Ave. S. Richfield, MN 55423. He is an authority on Pattersons and has written many articles and has been listed in the New England Genealogical Register. He is in his late 80's and is a very interesting fellow. My great-grandmother was a Patterson from Ireland who emigrated here in the 1840's - his arrived much earlier. I don't think he would mind my giving you his address, but include a self-addressed stamped envelope when writing him. Good luck.
