Surnames: Patterson/ Martin/ Birks and Williams
Does anyone have info on Samuel S Patterson. He brought federal lands in Tazewell Co., Il. 11/1/1839 he bought with Alfred Williams in the Springfield Office. He also bought with Benjamin Williams same date. Also bought same date with Drury/Drewry Martin and Drewry's brother in law James Birks. Does anyone know what the connection to the Williams, Birks and Martins? Are they all related to Samuel Patterson?
