Maria Catherine/Pauli m. to Pittman/Puettman

searching to uncover the line of Maria Catherine PAULI daughter of maybe Johann Pauli and Maria Catherine Weber.
I have information of Catherine Pauli on a passenger list w/her husband Joseph Pittman coming to America w/several children. I have located her on a 1850 census listing her birth as 1800 in Germany. I also have her death as being in Indiana poss. Vanderburgh Co.
Her husband was Joseph or Josef Pittman. I have seen postings of a Franz Joseph being her husband and also a John. All records I have of her husband show his name as being Joseph including his grave.
I hope someone out there might be able to help me locate the true and correct line.

I have a Johann Georg Pauli B. 14 Dec 1849 in Augsburg, Schwaben, Bayern, Germany; D- 28 Feb 1880; married Regina Kindsvater Beck 9 Jun 1874 in Augsburg, Schwaben, Bayern, Germany. They had a son: August Kasper Pauli (my grandfather).

William Henry Cochran was born about 1862. He married Anna Mary Wicker and lived in Bennington, Blair Co., PA. He died about 1910 in Blair Co. He had 3 boys: James, Nichlas, Joseph, Viola and at least one more daughter. He was a 'teamster' in Bennington. Bennington no longer exists but was opposite Gallitzen in Cambria Co., across the tunnel. Viola married a 'Slusser.'

They had 8 children and lived in Pgh PA, Allegheny Co. PA. August left his family and changed his name is Albert Kissell and lived with a 2nd wife in the south side of Pgh.

I am looking for any information about my husband's gg grandparents. His gggrandfather was Nicholas Klinkhammer (born 1817 Prussia - Died 1900 New Ulm, Minnesota). His gggrandmother was Cresentia Hagele (born 1836 Wertemborg, Germany Died 1927 New Ulm, Minnesota). They settled in New Ulm, Minnesota. I know they had 7 children named: John, Nicolaus, Catherine, Bernard, Michael Joseph, Margaret and Mary.

I just ran across some new information (at least to me) on Karl Pauli's family that I thought was worth sharing.

Karl and the members of his family listed below appear on the passenger manifest for the William Frothingham, which sailed from LeHavre and arrived in NYC on 13 Nov, 1863. The list includes:

Paule Carl 49 (I have the spelling as "Karl")
Georges 18 (I have the name as "Georg")
Peter 18
Rosa 22
Carl 11 (I have the name as Franz Karl)

my ggf was Frank George Pauli, he was born in 1805. Not sure if in US or Germany. his childrens names were Frank Martin Pauli, George Pauli, Henry Pauli and Lizzie Pauli all born 1860 - 1870. It appears that they were located in Bedford Ohio. My grandmother was Lillian Charlotte Otto born in 1893. Her parents were Julius Charles Otto and Margaret mary Hogan. any threads??? I do have some marriage and birht documents from Germany in the 1830's and I think they are related to my grandmothers side of the family (Otto's)

I am related to the Klinkhammers. My GG grandfather was Gerhardt Klinkhammer. He was born in the Eiffel Region of Germany/Prussia in Ripsdorf. I have some family tree information dating back to 1695 on the Klinhammer and Buhr's. Would be glad to share what I have.

The people you mentioned (Mary and Joesph) are my great-grandparents as well. Joseph (1899-1979) is my grandfather. I knew my Aunt Betty well, but never met my Aunt Kitty. Mary's maiden name was Merk, not Mork. My dad (Bob Pauli) has been research family history. If your father is Midgie Mazur, I think you and I knew each other as kids. I vaguely recall a Valerie among his daughters. Would love to hear from you.

I now have an update for Fredrick PAULI he came from Antwerp on the S.S. Westerland that arrived May 23, 1896 in NY. His mother was Theresa, when they came over she was 45 and he was 11. I have learned his fathers name may have been George PAULI b. 1852 and d. April 3, 1892. On the boat record it says they were natives of Germany. Can anyone please help me finding where they came from and their parents? I know his brother stayed in Germany but I don't know what his name is. I will gladly share any info I have.

Seeking information on this Pauli family- may have been from Putlitz, Germany - Louisa, b. @ 1860, had sister Fredericka and brother Henry - Henry may have also been father's name. my ggg grandmother was Luise Marianna Pauli who Married a Julius Oeder. Their son was George Oeder who lived around Cincinnati Oh and died in N. KY-he was born in 1830 and died in 1897. I believe that he had at least one brother John.
I believe his parents were born in germany and came to Cincinnati after their marriage.Do you see any connecting elements ?--Pat
