have been looking at old records and I have a problem with either Jonathan being the father of Samuel..

One Jonathan was born in 1768 would have been 12 years old when Samuel was born in 1780.

The other Jonathan born in 1703 would have been well into his 70`s. Abt 77 years old.. Hmmm that seems kind of old to me.. Neither really fit the picture to me..

I am sure up to Samuel but not too sure after that.. How many spouses did Jonathan 1703 have I wonder?? Only one that I know of. Rebecca..SO I hardly believe that an old 70 ish lady had Samuel.. Any Ideas??

And why if Samuel was born in 1780, and his dad died in 1799 did a 19 year old need a guardian??

I am open to all suggestions.. Will follow any leads..
