FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Joanne M. Paxton, 68, of 1929 Glenwick Drive, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 7 tonight, May 1, 2009, at the home with Thomas Wooten officiating. Mrs. Paxton is survived by her husband, John Paxton of the home; daughters, Debra Cox, Jennifer Leach, Kathleen Le Blanc and Danille Pruey; son, Scott Johnson and wife Angie; and grandsons, Michael Johnson and Patrick Cox. The family requests that memorials be made to the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, 3927 Bragg Blvd., Fayetteville, NC 28303 or The Ronald McDonald House, 101 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. Services entrusted to Cape Fear Crematory of Fayetteville.
