For all those descendants of the above siblings, I was able to persuade a male Payton descendant of Jacob Payton b 1787 to submit to a 37 marker DNA test, and there resulted a 36 marker match to Maj. Robert Peyton b circa 1640 (proves a 99% relationship within the last 400 years). Maj. Robert is #5 in the descendants of Thomas Abbot Peyton (A Line) in the Peyton's of Virginia II book.
