I too am descended from John Pabodie thru his son Francis. My great grandfather was Enoch Wood Peabody who was the master of one of the Black Ball packet ships that plied from New York to Liverpool. I am now researching his wife's ancestry. She was Cornelia Marshall, descended from Alexander Coffin Marshall who was descended from, I think, Alexander Coffin of the Nantucket whaling family. Any info re the Coffins would help.
