Mrs. R. E. Peabody, widow of the late Jeremiah Peabody, died in Columbus (Ohio) this morning about 3 o'clock of diseases incident to old age.
Mrs Peabody was well-known in this city (Zanesville, Ohio) and was highly respected for her admirable character. Besides her many friends who are left to mourn her, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Munson of Columbus and five step-sons and two step-daughters, who are George H. and Arthur of New York, R. Singleton and Robert of Philadelphia, James R. of this city, and Mrs. Edward Brush and Mrs. Joseph Outhwaite, of Columbus. The remains will be brought to this city for interment

The funeral of Mrs. R. E Peabody will take place at 10 o'clock Monday morning, from the residence of James Peabody on Seventh street.

The funeral of the late Mrs. R. E. Peabody took place this morning at 10:30 o'clock, from the residence of her stepson, Mr. James R. Peabody, of North Seventh street. Services were conducted by Rev. Macafee of the Broad Street M. E. church, of Columbus. Interment was made at Woodlawn cemetery. There were present of friends and relatives of the deceased, Hon and Mrs. Joseph Outhwaite, Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Brush, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Neal, and Mr. Walker of Columbus, and Mrs. R. S. Peabody and Mr. Charles Peabody, of Philadelphia.
