Been searching for great grandfather for 8 yrs. On my grandfather's marriage license his parents read Albert T. Peabody & Victoria Snyder. Albert & Victoria ( Dora ) were married 1-1-1877 Tiffin, Seneca Co., Ohio. Since the marriage she-along with the 3 children have lived with her parents.But Albert is listed as father on their birth records. I hired a researcher in Seneca Co to check courthouse records and their is no Albert Peabody on anything.Have checked census,land,tax,deeds,wills, etc. Albert and Victoria's license says DO NOT PUBLISH-was he a convict,already married,changed his name,traveling salesman. ????
