I don't know if you found anything on Nellie Peabody, but I might be able to help a little. Her parents Dennis and Nancy Davis Peabody were married 12-21-1880 in Dekalb, Mo. I found other children for this family besides Nellie. They were Francis, John W., Charles, Maude, Elizabeth, and one other unnamed. I believe this information is at rootsweb.com.

I would like to know more about Nellie's father Dennis. It's possible that he may be related to my Peabody family. My gggrandfather James M. Peabody was born in Ohio, but his parents were from Maine. It seems that he was raised by Adam and Susan Redkey in Highland Co., Ohio, after his birth in September, 1839. We do not know what happened to his father or who he was, but his mother probably died in childbirth or shortly after his birth. If any of your Peabody family came from that part of Ohio there may be a connection.
