That sounds like a thread from my tree. I have a James Peacock who emigrated from Scotland, but am not sure where. They're on the 1950 census in Rye, NY (20 miles from W Farms) with their 4 children" Wm (b. 1832), Jane (b 1835), Mary (b.1841) and John B (b.1850).

I don't have much, except that Jane W married Conrad Bishop and remained in Westchester Co NY for a time. If you have any other information it would be appreciated!
