My greatgrandfather, Samuel Lenoard Peakes,from
Apline, Michigan, faught in the Civil war, on his
civil war papers they have his name as Peaks and
Peakes. He was with Shermans march to the Sea.
His mother was Jane Limpfold from England, father
Frank Peaks.
After Mi. he went to Wisconsin, and married
Emma Denison. There daughter Ann Peaks married
Robert Cashman. Their son Frank V. Cashman was
my father.
