Looking for descendants of Callie Cox and James Ira Pearce. James was born 29 Jul 1881 in Texas. At this time his parents are unknown.
Callie was the daughter of James Knox Polk Cox and Louisa Missouri Carter out of Tennessee. The family migrated to Burnet County Texas in the late 1880s.
Callie married James Ira Pearce and they had three daughters, Fay (Frankie), Amelia Isabelle, and Essie E.
I found Callie on the 1900 census with her parents, on the 1910 and 1920 census with her husband and daughters.
By 1930 Callie was married to and living with Willard St. Clair in Oklahoma. Willard was originally from Indiana and went to Texas after World War I where relatives where living. By 1930 James and the daughters are gone and I can't find them.
Callie died in Kerr County in 1962. Willard St. Clair and Callie separated but never divorced. She was 14 years older than Willard.
Would appreciate it if anyone knows what happened to Callie's daughters to write to me. Thank you.
