John Mott, Grandfather of Mott Pearsall

Who can help me find out about John Mott, husband of Sarah Seaman. The Seaman family site says he died in 1688 at age 29, yet others say he lived until 1727. The latter makes sense since he is listed as teh father of Henry Mott, born in 1702. The fact? thanks.
