William Reginald Guy Pearson

I am researching the young men from our village of Eastham, Wirral, UK who died in WW1 and one of them was William Reginald Guy Pearson. He was a pilot at the nearby Hooton Airfield, and was killed in a flying accident on June 20th 1918 and is buried in the churchyard here.
Does anyone have any information about William and his family that they would be willing to share with me?
He was aged 21 when he died and was serving with No 4 Training Depot Station. Any information would be appreciated to help add a little bit more to the stories of the young men who are remembered in the village.
Thanks
Tracey

PEARSON JOSEPH AND WIFE ANN

Joseph Pearson and his wife Ann both died in 1979, their address was Beach Drive,Victoria. Joseph was a Theatre owner and Ann ran an antique store on Fort for over 30 years. They left a huge bequest to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and I wondered if there might have been anything in the newspapers - like an obituary - to Joseph and Ann pearson who died on the 7th March 1979 and 12th March 1979. I know that the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has a collection known as the " Ann and Joseph Pearson Collection and that Kilshaws Auctioneers sold many of the antiques. As I live in the UK distance is proving a bit of a problem ,just wish I lived closer to the archives where I am sure all the story of my grandad's brother could be found.

Maybe there is someone out there who either knew or remembers the Pearsons???

Susan Williams ( nee Pearson )

Hello,
I have been researching Pearson's from Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been able to find George Pearson who married Elizae Watson in 1799 and they had about 7 children. Of these one son - Francis Watson Pearson m Mary Ann Blackett in 1842 and then they came out to Western Australia with 4 young children to build a lead smelter. I have been trying to follow up on other members of the family in England without too much success. I did find one sister Hannah had married a John Robinson in 1841 but was a widow by the 1861 census.

Very interesting you found this book. I wonder if I might have your email address as I am sure my mum (a Pearson in Australia from the orginal Pearsons) would like a photo copy. I found this yesterday and the Sacree was very interesting. been looking for the spouse of Daniel Pearson (Algenias mum for many years) and by chance your book may have lead to the answer. Also mum is in corresponance with the Trudes (still in the US) who also may find the book interesting if somehow linked to them.

Regards, Graham Pearson China.

To all that are looking for the Pearson Coat of arms I have some disappointing news.

There is no such thing as a "Pearson Coat of Arms". Anyone selling you that is ripping you off. Coats of are are assigned to PEOPLE not last names. You have no right to display any arms that do not belong to you and you are doing a dis-service to the historical importance of coats of arms by doing so.

I suggest you read the website of the College of Arms in England, or the Office of the Lord Lyon in Scotland to get an official explanation of what I said above.

There are dozens of arms in both countries that have the last name Pearson. Unless you are descended from that person, those are have NOTHING to do with you.

My father (Joseph) grew up in Willow Springs, IL, the youngest of 5 children and my grandfather was Merwin(?) and mother's name Clara. From what my dad told me, there were a lot of "relative" Pearsons in Penn. I also know there were cousins in Wisconsin.

Hi

My Grandmother was Grace Di Paulo (maiden name was Pearson)
There were about 12 children in the family, including two sets of twins. One set survived Frank and Dave. All kids i think were born in Wagga Wagga. Not sure if any connection as surname is quite popular

trish keighran
