I have lost this information during a move! I remember Capt. Peebles was married to Elspat Mackie, England. She must have died prior to his coming to the colonies (abt. 1610). He had plantation in VA. He died while in England and one of his sons returned to take care of his affairs.

A set of twins, Wiley & Riley, b. July 07, 1806, Sumter Co., SC are desc. from him.

Wiley, d.Jun 24, 1870, Polk Co., TX m. Eliza Jane Ward, Sept. 14, 1836. (my line)

Riley, d. July 02, 1867,Polk Co., TX m. Sarah Runnels, September 17, 1831 near Abbeville, Barbour Co., AL.

Wiley & Riley (with their wives) are buried in the Peebles Cemetery, Providence Hill, Livingston, Polk Co., Tx.

Any info. will be greatly appreciated.
