I’m looking for information on Daisy Stout and her daughter Ella Lawrence.

Daisy born 1880 first married William Ed Lawrence in Marshall County KS late 1890s. They are on the Buchanan County MO, St Joseph, 1900 census with one month old baby Ella.

In 1904 Daisy Stout Lawrence returned to Marshall County KS and married John Peel born 1871. John was the son of Benjamin Peel and wife Lucy. Benjamin was a prominent farmer in Bloomington twp, Buchanan County MO.

By the 1910 census John is living in Bloomington Twp, Buchanan County, MO with a different wife.

When Daisy's father Peter Stout died in Pottawatomie County KS in 1927 his obit says he was preceeded in death by daughter Daisy many years ago. It does not mention his grand daughter Ella.

Since I can't find any mention of Ella anywhere I'm wondering if maybe daugher and mother died together in some type of accident? It would probably have been between 1905 and 1909. If anyone has access to St Joseph MO newpaper archives for the early 1900s I'd be very thankful if you could look for these names.

I'd really appreciate any info on what may have happened to Daisy and/or her daughter Ella Lawrence. Thanks in advance. Donna
