I am looking for the parents of Sophia Pehrson. She was born 29 Aug 1885 in Ohio, possibly in the area of cuyahoga county. Her parents immigrated from Sweden. Names and dates are unknown. She married Johannes Alfred Jokumsen in Ohio,about 1903, her husbands name may be listed as John Alfred Johnson.

I am looking for any information/history/genealogy concerning this family in Sweden. Olaf married Karna Svenson 26 Dec 1870 at Oja, near Ystad. Olaf was my great-grandfather. His father was Pehr Hanson(b. 19 Jan 1805) married to Bengta Trulsdotter in Ulstrop. I'm also looking for a connection to a Swedish website similar to the Norway Heritage website.

Did you look to see if there was an obit on him? A copy of his death record might also give you a lead. Do you know if he lived in MN all his life? MN birth records starting in 1936 do not list him as a father of any children born in MN.

Looking for decendants of Andreas Pehrson and Sara Jacobsdotter both born in Bohuslän,Sweden in 1825. They moved to Norway. Their 3 sons all born in Norway went to America og Canada before 1885: Carl Alfred Pehrson,b.1861.
Severin,b.1864. Peder Marentius, b. 1866.
They also had with them a young cousin Christian Emanuel Bärnholdt,b. 1869. He is said to have married Olga Warren.

Nils Pehrsson, Näs Jämtland

Nils Pehrsson, born 1864 in Näs, Jämtland , Sweden. He emigrated from Sweden in sept 1891.
I know that he had three children in US and that he died before 1903.
He probably was a member of a Baptist Church.

I have a John Pehrson whose real name was Sigfrid but he
apparently changed it when he came over from Sweden.
He was in Jupiter, Florida in the 1920s.
He had a sister, Amanda, born 1885 who married a Willis
She moved to California in the early 1930s.
She had been in Chicago, Illinois working as a nurse before
she moved to Florida. She married in Ft Lauderdale.

Her brother, John, had a daughter. My father remembers
something about a university football player connected to
that daughter but his memory is hazy. He had thought it
had something to do with a Midwest university. Does any
of this sound familiar to you?

I am desperatly seeking information on the Pehrson family... My husbands great grandfathers name is Swen Lars Frederick Pehrson... he was born OCT 19, 1902 in Brigham city Utah. He died May 3,1990 He married Vera Jensen on June 15, 1927 in SLC utah. Vera jensen was born may 31, 1909 in brigham city Utah she died july 30, 1993. I am just beginingg the search for my family. My great Grandfather came to this country in 1883 from Halland Sweden. He left his family there until he had work here, then sent for them. My Grandfather (born 1876)was 9 years old when he came to this country, with his mother and 3 sibbings. He changed his name to Pearson. Any help is appreciated.
