I am looking for any info on Barbara Urr. I am assuming that she married John (Johann) Pein and had two daughters - Dorothea Pein, b. 1864, who is my gg grandmother and a Lena Pein. I am also assuming that they emigrated from Germany in 1864 to pennsylvania. I know that Dorothea was the third wife of Lemuel Uriah Andreas. Can any one tell me if I am correct? and can anyone tell me;
1. Barbara Urr - any info, dates, places, ascendants, ancestry? I have read that she emigrated from Germany but I have also read of an Urr in Scotland..hmmm.
2. John (Johann) Pein - any info, dates, places, ascendants, ancestry etc..? He apperently emigrated from Germany to Pa. with Barbara and may have fathered Dorothea before leaving Germany. There is that thing about Urr, Scotland but they did move to a predominantly German part in Pa. Luzerne Co. etc.. so I am guessing this much I have is correct. please let me know.
