For those researching this Pelfrey, the Military and/or Pensions Records from the National Archives or in some cases State Archives for about $5 per set might be a valuable resource since it often lists family members, locations, etc. If this is the same person, it appears he fought for both sides in the Civil War. The Union records would contain more information.
Of course I would welcome emails, but since he is not in my direct line, I have NO other information I could provide at this time.
