I have a Hannah Elizabeth Pelham who, it is said, was born in England in 1724 and died in Marysville, Kentucky in 1788. She was married to James Bradley (1720-1796). According to DAR records, she opened and maintained a hospital for wounded soldiers during the Revolution. However, nowhere on line can I find out anything more about it. Where was the hospital? Was she a trained nurse or simply a caring woman? If anyone knows more about her story, I would appreciate it.
