Has anyone lost an Almira/Elmira Pendell? (the name is given both ways) She's my gggrandmother. Bithplace is given both as NY and PA on censuses. Married a Henry Cole by 1837 and moved to Bradford County PA around 1850 and Mitchell County Iowa by 1860. I'm looking for her parents -- and where she was before 1850! Thanks, Jo Cole
