I have been reading your messages on different boards over the past year and I believe we have a connection somewhere. Mu mother has just informed me that
she has relatives in Australia and I'm wondering if this could be tied up with your tree.

Jeremiah Pendlebury (B: 1766, Halliwell, Lancashire) married Catherine Unkown (B: appr. 1770)
Jeremiah and Catherine had one son that I know of:

James Pendlebury (Christened; Aug 30, 1803)
+Martha Barrow (Born Aug 30, 1803)
Children of James and Martha
1)Samuel B:1826
2)Joseph B: 1828
3) James B: 1835
4)Jabez B:1837
5)William B: 1841
6) Esther B:1839

James married Elizabeth Unkown (B: 1838) and their children are as follows:
1) Mathilda Martha B: 1862 married name Chadwick
2) James Albert B: 1872 married Margaret Unkown
3)John Tuck B: 1870 see below
4)Jabez B: 1874 married Pricilla Ann Gale
5) Ester Ellen B: 1880 (Nellie?) married Charles Robert Adams
6) William

John Tuck Pendlebuury married Mary Victoria Rose Burgell and had 5 children: George, Ethel, Frank, Elizabeth (my grandmother) and Elsie. All children were
born in Isle of Man.
James Pendlebury (the one born in 1835) came to the USA to fight in the American Civil War.
