My father was George Newton Watson. His father was Newton Watson. His grandfather was John Watson a Native American man it was told to me that he could have come from Alabama or from FL. His mother was Henrietta Peoples it was said she was from Durham,N.C. she was a Native American woman. Newton was born abt.1904. He married Lucile Presley from Seneca S.C. Her mothers name is unknown at this time her fathers name was George.Her mother was of Native American descent as well. None of this has been proven. Very little is known of my fathers family my research is just beinging.
