Hello,

I have an ancestor who had the surname Pependee in the Parish Records (Huntingdonshire, UK). This surname does not appear to exist, and I wonder if it might be Pepen Dit.

Her name is Sarah and she was born in 1778, I think (don't have my records to hand). She married Mark Goodes and they lived in Spaldwick, then Leighton Bromswold, in Huntingdonshire.

If anyone has any information about the surname that they think would help, or other spellings of it, then I would be very grateful.
