My great grandfather was George Perks Lewis - married Mary Ann Bickerton- Had children Samuel, Sarah Aphia, George Bickerton, Florance Bertha and Alice Maud. Lived in Dawley Shropshire (where my grandfather was born) immigrated to Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, approx 1885.. Story down the line is that my great great grandmother was called "Polly Perks" . Ring any bells?
