Re: Information on Perrines living on the West Coast?

I'm not sure which Perrine family, your looking for, but my father inlaw is a Perrine from W. Loffiette, Indiana. His age is 75. As far as we know there are no other individuals in this area (Shelton, WA)who are related to him. He was a product of an orphanage when his parents gave he and his sister away. At a very young age he joined the Navy and ended up here mearly by making friends with ship mates. He made his living as a logger. His father was Charles Sylvester Perrine SR. Married to Mildred Burnell. Two children born to that couple. My father Inlaw; Charles S. Perrine JR and Daughter Bulah. Charles Sr. went on to marry and have children several times over. If this is the right family, please let me know. He's gathered quite a bit of information that he would enjoy passing along.

The Perrine family photo is in a family photo album of my great grandmothers. Most photos were taken in the early 1900s (1902- 1910) The Charles Perrine was one of the individuals whos home is pictured in the album. I am not sure who he is. I will send you a photo of the house that you can compare to photos you may have. There is also William Perrine home photo. Please send me you email address and I will attach it to the message. I was hoping to find out more about his connection to the Fowler Family. He may have just been a neighbor?

I am a descendant of William Leslie Perrine born 1875 and married to Margarette born 1879 (according to 1920 Census). It does not give her maiden name; however, I do know that we had some cousins by the surname Perkins from Indiana. I'm hoping that you might be able to help in my research for further ancestors.

Re: Charles Perrine>Centralia,Illinois

I hope I can still contact you. I would love to see a picture of the Charles Perrine home in Centralia, Illinois. I grew up in Centralia, Marion County, Illinois and have recently been doing research on a family that was in Centralia with the name of O'Melveny. I remember Perrine Street and that the Joys and Perrines owned the Sentinel Newspaper in Centralia. I would love to see a picture of the Perrine home so that I can compare it to what I remember of the wonderful O'Melveny home on South Lincoln Boulevard. The Perrines certainly grew the tastiest peaches!

I am looking for information about Ada Etta Perrine (Perrien?). My grandmother thinks Ada was 1/8 Indian. She married Merritt Brown
McKay. They had at least one child, Roseanna Mae, born in 1885 in Zalia, Hancock County, West Virginia.

Ada may have been born in WV or Pennsylvania or Ohio (Hancock County is right on the border) in the 1850s or 1860s.

I would appreciate any information.

Thanks!

3 Henry Perrin(e)s?

I am trying to sort out the three Henry Perrine/Perrin in my direct line back to Daniel Perrin and Maria Thorel.
I am fine until I get to Henry Perrin(e) who married Rachel Cookeroo/Cockereau. This Henry b 1752. His siblings are Daniel, b 1754 and Elizabeth, b 1757. Their parents are Henry Perrin(e) and Unknown. I have no dates for this Henry. "Henry with no dates" is supposedly the son of Henry and Martha Jobs Perrine(e). I am wondering, since the "middle" Henry has no info, if the Henry b 1752 is the son of Henry and Rachel Cookeroo/Cockereau Perrin(e).
Any help, suggestions, additional dates, etc. welcomed.
Thank you!

I know my Perrine family has members in Fort Wayne, Indiana as they were at my g-g-uncle and aunt's 50th wedding anniversary party. I will try to see what I can find but most of my info may be in a book on the Perrine family - if your family is related to mine, you might want to purchase this.

If you don't hear from me in a couple of days - e-mail me at beaster@cinci.rr.com. Work full time but have fibromyalgia - 1 of several things wrong with me - with 10 pain level so some days can't even think about opening my laptop.
