In August I sent a letter to Asiago requesting information on my Greatgrandfather Paolo Pesavento. It took a month, but what I got was very unexpected and very free I might add.
I got this letter tracing Paolo....and HIS father all the way back to 1818. I was shocked!!!!
So...I'll throw a few names and dates out there...maybe it can help someone!

Marco Pesavento b.1818 d.1892
Wife 1: Antonia Pesavento b. 1822 d.1884
Wife 2: Catterina Basso b.1857 d.?

Children that survived: (they had a lot that lived only a couple years)

son: Giovanni b.1850 d.1872
son: Marco Modesto b:1853 d.?
daughter: Paola b.1857 d.?
son: Paolo b: 1860 d.1930

Paolo married Cristina Rodighiero August 11, 1889

Their surviving children:

Marco b. 1891 d.1957 in Lockport, Illinois
Giovanni b. 1894 d. 1965 in Lockport, Illinois
Antonio b. 1899 d. 1968 in Lockport, Illinois

Antonio was my grandfather and he immigrated to the US in 1922 aboard the Giuseppe Verdi.

Hope this can help someone.
