Chris,
I called up my elder sister, Marietta. She remembered that in 1960's our late mother received a letter from California suppossedly coming from our maternal relative. From where are you? We're based in Davao City, Philippines. Another sister, Veronica, is in New York.

Very good possibility that my grandfather Demtrios, may be the brother of Silveno. Although, I'm not aware of my grandfather having any siblings. I'm now looking into this. Demetios was born in 1898.

I'm Dr. Adriano Petagara Suba-an of Davao City, Philippines. My late mother was the only child of Silveno Petagara who ran away from home before World War II. We don't know much of our maternal relatives. Silveno was supposed to have two brothers (?).
