I am searching for information on the parents of William PETERS,born 21 February 1838 in Rogeez, Mecklenberg-Schwerin, Germany, according to burial records at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Monroe County, Michigan, USA.
In the 1880 and 1900 US Census of Monroe County, Michigan, his name is listed as William PETERS.
In the 1870 US Census of Monroe County, Michigan, his name is listed as Philip PETERS.
He is listed as William PETERS in his marriage to Sophia MILDAHN in records at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
On the ships passenger list for the Senator Iken, arriving in New York City from Hamburg, he is listed with the MILDAHN family as Fritz PETERS.
I could not find a PETERS male born in the Satow Evangelisch Parish records that would match up with him. I also tried the Belitz Parish records where the MILDAHN family lived with the same results.
Would there be a connection with anyone on this list ?
